The LBMS offers a lecture-based short course every Fall for TAMU graduate students who are new to mass spectrometry
and who will be frequent users of LBMS. This workshop is designed to increase graduate students' basic understanding
of mass spectrometry techniques.
Activities including capabilities of LBMS, sample requirements for various analysis techniques, reasonable expectations
for data/information that can be obtained using the available experimental methods/techniques, interpretation of the mass
spectral data, and the use of mass spectral data with on-line computer interpretation/data base searching methods will be
discussed. Similar workshops were given in the past by LBMS personnel.
